In the past five years, Kailuan Group has been striving to build a green coal chemical park with industrial agglomeration, land intensive, layout optimization and functional support in accordance with the development ideas of “parking, base, upstream and downstream industry integration and public auxiliary engineering”.
The project of coking, CDQ, methanol, crude benzene refining, tar processing, polyoxymethylene, adipic acid, etc., which have been put into operation in Jingtanggang Coal Chemical Industry Park, has realized the recycling of by-products, the utilization of energy cascades and the sharing of various resources. It was identified as the first batch of “3255” circular economy demonstration park during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period in Hebei Province. The main raw materials and most of the public and auxiliary media required by the Zhonghao Chemical Company's polyformaldehyde and adipic acid projects in the park are from the upstream enterprise Zhongrun Coal Chemical Company, and are directly transported through pipelines, which not only realizes the centralized processing and scale benefits of coking by-products.
